Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has conceded that he has doubts over the strength of Arsenal's attacking options.
The Gunners failed in bids for Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain, while they were also linked with signing Wayne Rooney from rivals Manchester United.
However, only Yaya Sanogo arrived to strengthen Arsene Wenger's attack, and although Mesut Ozil signed on deadline day, Parlour believes the Gunners could struggle if Olivier Giroud picks up an injury.
"I'm worried about the forward line. Giroud was excellent against Spurs," he told the Daily Star.
"But if he does get a niggle or get injured, then the next player that can play there is Theo Walcott because Lukas Podolski is out injured. They got Ozil in – great. But could they have signed a striker as well?"
Giroud is Arsenal's top scorer so far this season with four goals, while Aaron Ramsey has three.
