Arsenal's Theo Walcott 'enjoys stick' from Tottenham Hotspur fans

Arsenal's Theo Walcott admits that he 'enjoys' getting criticism from Tottenham Hotspur fans ahead of Saturday's North London derby.

Arsenal star Theo Walcott has insisted that he will not be 'affected' by "stick" that he will receive from Tottenham Hotspur fans in Saturday's North London derby.

Walcott particularly riled the Spurs following last January when he gestured a 2-0 scoreline with his fingers while being stretchered off in the Gunners' FA Cup third-round victory at the Emirates.

That knee injury kept Walcott out of action for the best part of a year, but he is in line to feature against Arsenal's rivals at White Hart Lane this weekend.

"Every player will get stick I am sure, but it is about just trying to go out there and perform," Walcott told the London Evening Standard.

"Any criticism won't affect me at all. It is enjoyable. It is a bit different and is always a great atmosphere at White Hart Lane.

"It is probably the fixture I always look forward to playing in the most, to be fair. It is one of the biggest games for both sets of fans and this year it is going to be tight."

Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League table, two points above Tottenham.
