Team News: Nicklas Bendtner starts for Arsenal as Olivier Giroud is rested against Hull City

Nicklas Bendtner starts ahead of Olivier Giroud in one of five Arsenal changes made by Arsene Wenger for tonight's visit of Hull City.

Arsene Wenger has made a number of changes to his Arsenal team for tonight's visit of Hull City, with Nicklas Bendtner starting ahead of Olivier Giroud up front.

Giroud had previously started every single Premier League and Champions League match this season but is dropped to the bench in one of five changes from Saturday's win in Cardiff.

Carl Jenkinson, Nacho Monreal, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky are also promoted to the starting XI tonight in place of Bacary Sagna, Kieran Gibbs, Mikel Arteta and Jack Wilshere.

Meanwhile, Steve Bruce makes a pair of changes to his Hull side from Sunday's impressive victory over Liverpool.

Curtis Davies and Robert Koren miss out as James Chester and Danny Graham come in.

Arsenal: Szczesny; Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Flamini, Ramsey, Rosicky; Cazorla, Ozil; Bendtner

Hull: McGregor; Elmohamady, Chester, Bruce, Figueroa; Meyler, Huddlestone, Livermore, Brady; Graham, Sagbo
