Benik Afobe joins MK Dons on loan

Arsenal striker Benik Afobe joins MK Dons on loan for the 2014-15 season.

Arsenal have announced that Benik Afobe will spend the 2014-15 season on loan with League One side MK Dons.

The striker featured heavily at the start of the Gunners' pre-season schedule, scoring in their 2-0 win over Boreham Wood before netting a brace for an Arsenal XI side against Harrow Borough last month.

The 21-year-old has had several previous spells on loan, including a 12-game stint with Sheffield Wednesday last season.

Afobe also has two caps for England's Under-21 side.
