Arsenal have reportedly cooled their pursuit of Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
The Frenchman was heavily linked with the Gunners last summer and the player himself has suggested that he wants to leave the Saints for Champions League football.
However, according to The Mirror, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is likely to consider other targets in the summer as he has been impressed with Francis Coquelin's performances in the middle of the park.
It is believed that one of Wenger's priorities is to sign a new goalkeeper, with Chelsea's Petr Cech an option.
