Arsenal reportedly plan to offer Bukayo Saka a contract extension at the end of the season, with his existing terms set to expire in 2024.

Arsenal are reportedly working on a new contract for attacker Bukayo Saka.

The England international continues to make progress under the tutelage of Mikel Arteta at the Emirates Stadium and has six goals and four assists to his name from 21 Premier League appearances this season.

Saka only penned a new deal with Arsenal until the summer of 2024 back in 2020, but the 20-year-old could supposedly be set for improved terms given his recent development.

According to football.london, Arsenal plan to offer Saka an extension which recognises his importance to the team, with the Gunners using the funds freed up from cutting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's £350k-a-week wages off their books.

Liverpool have been briefly linked with a move for Saka, but there is unlikely to be any difficulty in negotiations with the winger and his boyhood club over a new deal.

Saka has now registered 18 goals and 25 assists in 114 appearances in Arsenal colours, and the Hale End graduate has started 19 Premier League games for the Gunners this term.
