Gareth Bale and Martin Odegaard are reportedly among the nine players Real Madrid are willing to offload to fund a move for Kylian Mbappe or Erling Braut Haaland.

Real Madrid are reportedly hoping to recoup €176m (£150m) from player sales this summer to help fund a deal for Kylian Mbappe or Erling Braut Haaland.

Los Blancos are eager to add one of the superstar strikers to their squad ahead of the start of next season.

Paris Saint-Germain ace Mbappe is thought to be valued in the region of €150m (£128m), despite having just a year to run on his contract as things stand.

Haaland, meanwhile, is said to have a price tag of €180m (£128), though Borussia Dortmund have made it clear that they are not looking to sell this summer.

Spanish outlet AS claims that Madrid cannot currently afford to move for either player, meaning that they must first bring in some cash.

The report indicates that as many as nine fringe players could be moved on, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur loan pair Gareth Bale and Martin Odegaard among those up for sale.

Dani Ceballos, Luka Jovic, Reinier Jesus, Takefusa Kubo, Brahim Diaz, Jesus Vallejo and Borja Mayoral, who have also spent 2020-21 out on loan, are the other players supposedly deemed surplus to requirements.
