Team News: Two changes for Aston Villa against Swansea City

Tim Sherwood makes two changes to his Aston Villa side for the visit of Swansea City to Villa Park.

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has made two changes to his side for the visit of Swansea City to Villa Park this afternoon.

Leandro Bacuna has been handed a start in midfield, with Ashley Westwood dropped to the bench, and Gabriel Agbonlahor has returned from a calf injury to feature in attack.

Carles Gil is also taken out of the team which lost 2-0 to Chelsea last Saturday, and he has to settle for a spot on the bench alongside Adama Traore and Carlos Sanchez.

Kieran Richardson is again preferred to Jordan Amavi at left-back and Sherwood keeps faith with Brad Guzan despite the American goalkeeper's error at Stamford Bridge.

For Garry Monk's side, there are three changes to the team which lost 1-0 at Stoke City on Monday to make it six games without a win in all competitions.

Gylfi Sigurdsson, Ki Sung-yeung and Kyle Naughton are brought in for Modou Barrow, Jack Cork and Angel Rangel, while Wayne Routledge has not recovered sufficiently from a calf problem to face his former club.

Swans striker Andre Ayew will line up against his younger brother at Villa Park, with Jordan Ayew handed another start in attack for the hosts.

Aston Villa: Guzan; Hutton, Richards, Lescott, Richardson; Bacuna, Gueye; Grealish, Agbonlahor, Ayew; Gestede
Subs: Bunn, Amavi, Westwood, Traore, Sanchez, Gil, Crespo

Swansea City: Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor; Ki Sung-Yueng, Shelvey; Sigurdsson, Ayew, Montero; Gomis
Subs: Nordfeldt, Rangel, Bartley, Britton, Cork, Barrow, Eder
