Tim Sherwood hints at Brad Guzan selection

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood hints that goalkeeper Brad Guzan will retain his place for the club's Premier League clash with Swansea City.

Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has suggested that goalkeeper Brad Guzan will start against Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

Guzan was at fault for Chelsea's opening goal in their 2-0 victory against Villa last weekend, but while Sherwood has acknowledged that deputy stopper Mark Bunn is under consideration, he has hinted that a change will not be made this weekend.

The 46-year-old told reporters: "He knows he had made a mistake, but we are all in it together. No-one is the villain. Goalkeepers can only play one position. I am sure Brad has the confidence to put it right.

"Mark Bunn will be considered. When it's right to make the change, I will make it."

The American international has not kept a clean sheet for Villa in the Premier League since the opening day of the season.
