Artiz Adriuz scores the only goal of the game as Athletic Bilbao get their second win of the season with a 1-0 success over Osasuna.

Athletic Bilbao climbed out of the relegation zone in La Liga with an important home victory over Osasuna.

Artiz Adriuz scored the only goal of game after 12 minutes when he met a pinpoint cross from Oscar De Marcos with an accurate right-footed finish.

Athletic had chances to extend their lead but could not profit through Iker Muniain or Ander Herrera.

Osasuna poured forward in the late stages, but could not force an equaliser to punish Bilbao for some wasteful finishing.

In the closing minutes, Bilbao boss Marcelo Bielsa introduced unsettled striker Fernando Llorente as he continues to find his opportunities limited after refusing to sign a new contract.

Bielsa's side held on for their second win of the season, which moves his team into 16th in the table, while Osasuna slip to second from bottom after a disappointing start to their campaign.
