Valencia left it late to equalise as they drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey at Mestalla this evening.

Thibaut Courtois was called into action in the second half when Fede whipped a shot goalwards 10 minutes after the restart.

Los Che should have levelled things late on but Sergio Canales could only strike the crossbar from close range.

Sofiane Feghouli had an opportunity a minute later but Courtois pulled off an impressive stop to deny the Algerian winger.

With the game seemingly heading the way of Diego Simeone's side, Postiga popped up with a close-range header to level the tie.
