Report: Pedro fit for Atletico Madrid clash

Pedro is expected to return from illness for Barcelona's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

Barcelona will reportedly have Pedro available for Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Atletico Madrid despite concerns over an illness.

The Spanish attacker missed a training session for his club on Sunday with gastroenteritis, which is believed to have come on following the 1-0 win over Espaynol on Saturday.

However, according to Marca, Pedro is expected to be fit for the European tie at the Camp Nou, but could start on the bench as boss Gerardo Martino considers placing Andres Iniesta in a wide position.

The second leg will take place at the Vicente Calderon next week.
