Barcelona have reportedly tasked Gerard Pique with persuading Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann to switch clubs ahead of next season.
The France international rejected a move to Camp Nou last summer, announcing his decision in a TV documentary during the World Cup.
After falling short in the Champions League this season, though, reports in the Spanish media claim that Griezmann is back on Barca's radar.
The report indicates that the Catalan giants are more confident of landing the 28-year-old this time around and have put Pique in charge of talking him into a move.
Barca have supposedly been boosted in their pursuit of Griezmann following the confirmation that Diego Godin, one of the main reasons why the striker had not already left, is to depart the Wanda Metropolitano once his contract expires next month.
