Mario Gotze anticipates "difficult" Borussia Dortmund return

Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze predicts a heated and hostile reception when he returns to Borussia Dortmund for the first time this weekend.

Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze has revealed that he expects nothing less than a hostile reception on his return to Borussia Dortmund this weekend.

Gotze will be back at Signal Iduna Park for the first time since his £31m summer switch to Bayern on Saturday evening, when the Bundesliga's top two teams resume hostilities.

He told Kicker: "This will be one of the most difficult moments in my career. But ultimately I have to cope with it because it was my decision."

The 21-year-old has overcome injury problems to feature 11 times for Pep Guardiola's side so far this season, scoring twice in the process.
