Torsten Lieberknecht looking forward to taking on Bayern Munich

Eintracht Braunschweig's coach speaks of the respect he has for Bayern Munich ahead of Saturday's clash.

Eintracht Braunschweig coach Torsten Lieberknecht has admitted that there is an element of excitement as he prepares his team to take on treble winners Bayern Munich.

Lieberknecht said that while he has plenty of respect for the achievements of the champions, he does not want to give them too much so that his side is still competitive against them.

"Of course there is a great excitement that we will measure ourselves with currently the best club team in the world," the Bayern official website quotes him as saying.

"It's a mix of both [excitement and respect]. Of course there is a great anticipation, but both emotions balance each other out."

Braunschweig currently sit bottom of the Bundesliga, while Bayern are leading.
