Bastian Schweinsteiger 'in no hurry to renew contract'

Bastian Schweinsteiger says that he is "in no hurry to renew" his contract with Bayern Munich, despite his current deal ending next summer.

Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has said that he has no plans to enter into talks over a new contract with the club.

The 30-year-old's current deal expires next summer, but he has admitted that he is in no rush to discuss fresh terms over an extension.

"I am in no hurry to renew," The Express quotes him as saying. "It's not something that bothers me because I have a year before it expires.

"The important thing is that my physical problems and injuries are resolved. The rest will follow."

Schweinsteiger has spent his entire career at Bayern and has helped the club to win seven Bundesliga titles and the Champions League.
