Half-Time Report: Balckpool, Charlton Athletic play out lifeless first half

Blackpool and Charlton Athletic go into the half-time break with the score level at 0-0.

Blackpool and Charlton Athletic go into the half-time break with the score level at 0-0 after a lifeless 45 minutes at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool started the game brightly, with Stephen Dobbie firing just wide inside the opening 10 minutes and testing Ben Hamer in the Charlton goal shortly after.

Charlton had the lion's share of possession, but were unable to carve the home side open to create any chances.

On the stroke of half time, Blackpool's Andy Keogh showed a rare glimpse of quality when he sent a fizzing effort towards goal that flew just over the bar.
