Blackpool came back from two goals down to earn a point in a 2-2 draw with Watford at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool produced a spirited second-half performance to battle back from two goals down and earn a point at home to Watford.

Ikechi Anya gave the Hornets the lead with four minutes on the clock, sliding the ball under Matt Gilks to finish off a pacey counter-attack.

Two minutes later, Watford came close to grabbing a second when Matej Vydra worked his way into the penalty area, though Alex Baptiste cleared just in time.

A second goal did arrive for Watford after 21 minutes when a floated free kick found Troy Deeney, who stabbed the ball past the goalkeeper.

The half-time whistle blew with Gianfranco Zola's side deservedly leading 2-0.

Blackpool came out a much better side in the second half and managed to pull a goal back after 52 minutes. Kevin Phillips tapped home Chris Basham's pull back to make it 2-1.

Tom Ince almost found the equaliser for the Seasiders when his strike from the angle of the penalty area crashed off the crossbar.

Blackpool finally drew level in injury time when Ince's run across the box caused problems, before he left it to Isiah Osbourne, who curled his shot past Manuel Almunia to make it 2-2.

The final whistle blew, leaving both sides with a point each.
