Team News: Will Hughes starts for Derby County

Derby County make one change to their starting lineup for their trip to Blackpool, with Will Hughes replacing Jeff Hendrick.

Derby County manager Steve McLaren has recalled midfielder Will Hughes as his side looks to keep their faint hopes of automatic promotion to the Premier League alive with a win against struggling Blackpool.

Hughes goes into the starting lineup in place of Jeff Hendrick, who failed to shake off a hip injury in time to play, but otherwise the Rams are unchanged from the Rams team that lost to Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Blackpool boss Barry Ferguson claims that he picked his first XI within 24 hours of the defeat to Yeovil Town.

His decision may have been made easier by the number of injuries that has blighted the Tangerines front line, with Robert Earnshaw (calf), Ricardo Fuller, Kirk Broadfoot (both knee) and Steven Davies (groin) all sidelined.

While their opponents may be looking towards a possible Premier League place, Blackpool can ill afford to lose at Bloomfield Road, with both Charlton Athletic and Barnsley having games in hand and languishing just six points off the drop zone.

Blackpool: Gilks, McMahon, Cathcart, MacKenzie, Robinson, Angel, Perkins, Grandin, Dobbie, Keogh, Goodwillie

Derby County: Grant, Wisdom, Keogh, Buxton, Forsyth, Thorne, Bryson, Hughes, Bamford, Russell, Martin
