Preview: Bolton Wanderers vs. Blackpool

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Lancashire derby on Tuesday night between Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool.

Lancashire clubs Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool go into Tuesday's derby at the Reebok both on 41 points and not quite clear of the Championship's relegation battle.

The pair lie side by side in 17th and 18th and victory for either would all but secure safety.

Bolton will be without Alex Baptiste after his red card at Yeovil Town on Saturday, with Tim Ream expected to drop back into defence.

For the visitors, Robert Earnshaw will be hoping to make his debut alongside Ricardo Fuller up front, but Barry Ferguson will be without Kirk Broadfoot.

The two sides have already met twice this season, with the league game at Bloomfield Road ending goalless before Bolton came out on top 2-1 in the FA Cup in January.
