Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba is due to undergo more heart surgery following his cardiac arrest in March.

The 24-year-old collapsed on the pitch at White Hart Lane during an FA Cup quarter-final clash against Tottenham Hotspur last season but has since been gradually returning to full health.

The former England Under-21s international is expected to travel to Belgium to undergo a minor operation and receive further treatment, according to Goal.com.

Muamba recently revealed that he had played football while on holiday in Dubai.
