Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp says that his team will show the same heart and passion that has won them two successive Bundesliga titles going into the new season.

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted that he will maintain high expectations from his players this season.

Klopp's side have won the last two Bundesliga titles and the coach believes that motivation is strong to keep improving at the club this season.

The 45-year-old said: "We want to show that we can defend well in the early stages.

"The fans will be able to see that the team is playing with the same heart and the same passion for the cause."

Dortmund begin their title defence against Werder Bremen on Friday, August 24.
