Team News: Max Kruse, Raffael continue for Borussia Monchengladbach

Max Kruse and Raffael continue up front for Borussia Monchengladbach's trip to Mainz 05.

Borussia Monchengladbach coach Lucien Favre has kept faith with Max Kruse and Raffael up front for his side's trip to Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga.

It is a familiar Gladbach lineup, with solid central midfielders Christoph Kramer and Granit Xhaka paired together and Patrick Herrmann offering pace on the right flank.

For the hosts, Shinji Okazaki continues as the lone striker but Yunus Malli is preferred to Niki Zimling in the supporting midfield role.

Mainz: Karius; Pospech, Bell, Noveski, Park; Geis, Soto; Muller, Malli, Choupo-Moting; Okazaki

Gladbach: Ter Stegen; Korb, Jantschke, Stranzl, Wendt; Kramer, Xhaka, Herrmann, Arango; Raffael, Kruse
