Burnley boss Sean Dyche: 'Away form is not a concern'

Burnley boss Sean Dyche insists that he is not concerned about his side's Premier League away form ahead of Saturday's trip to Manchester United.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has insisted that he is not concerned about his side's away form ahead of Saturday afternoon's trip to Manchester United in the Premier League.

The Clarets have lost all three of their away league fixtures this season, including a 3-1 defeat at Southampton on October 16.

Dyche, however, has claimed that his team performed well against Chelsea and Leicester City and is not concerned with their away form approaching Saturday's clash with the Red Devils.

"I questioned the Southampton performance, but if you look at our first four away games, I think that is a really hard run for any team, whether you're established at this level or new to it like we are," Dyche told reporters.

"Chelsea, Leicester - still in their pomp early season on the back of a big win in the Champions League, a Southampton team that hadn't lost in nine and then went and got a draw at Manchester City, and now Manchester United. We have to be realistic and know the market we are in. It's a big challenge, but one we look forward to."

Burnley have collected 10 points from their nine league fixtures this season, with that total leaving them in 14th position in the Premier League table.
