Burnley climbed out of the relegation zone despite letting a two-goal lead slip to draw with West Bromwich Albion at Turf Moor this afternoon.
Ashley Barnes and Danny Ings gave the hosts a cushion with a little over half an hour played, but Chris Brunt pulled one back right on the stroke of the interval before Brown Ideye completed the turnaround midway through the second period.

BURNLEY
Goal
Tom Heaton: Made a fine stop to deny Berahino a late winner, tipping the close-range effort against Mee on the line. Could not do anything about either West Brom goal following some poor marking from the hosts. (6/10)
Defence
Kieran Trippier: A constant menace down the right flank, linking up with Boyd to great effect in the first half especially. His delivery was pinpoint throughout and West Brom simply could not deal with him at times. (8/10)
Michael Keane: Coped well with the threat of Berahino and Sessegnon from open play, keeping them quiet throughout. Both West Brom goals came from corners, and Keane was not at fault for either. (7/10)
Jason Shackell: Made a fine block to deny Berahino late on, but then almost gifted the same player a glorious chance moments later when he gave the ball away deep inside his own area. (6/10)
Ben Mee: Helped to spare Shackell's blushes following that mistake by clearing the subsequent effort off the line. Also kept McManaman very quiet over on his wing and got forward whenever possible. (7/10)
Midfield
George Boyd: Joined Trippier in causing havoc down Burnley's right flank and got the assist for the opening goal with a good cross to the head of Ings. (8/10)
Dean Marney: Enjoyed a solid and combative first half as the hosts dominated at times, but picked up an injury towards the end of the opening 45 minutes and was taken off at the break as a result. (6/10)
David Jones: Had a decent game for the most part, but was at fault for the equalising goal as Ideye escaped his marking all too easily before nodding home when unmarked from close range. (5/10)
Scott Arfield: Denied by a world-class stop from Foster early on, but did not offer much for the rest of the game. Solid defensively and did not do much wrong, but neither did he make a huge impact. (6/10)
Attack
Ashley Barnes: Worked hard all game and got the opening goal with a header from close range after good work from Ings. Another good shift from the striker. (7/10)
Danny Ings: Instrumental for his side again as he picked up a goal and an assist, as well as showing great hunger and desire throughout. Made things difficult for the visiting defence and was unfortunate not to end up on the winning team. (8/10)
Substitutes
Michael Kightly: Replaced Marney at the break and did a similar job to the departed midfielder. Put in a decent shift without grabbing the attention too much. (6/10)

WEST BROM
Goal
Ben Foster: Made a stunning save to tip Arfield's early shot onto the bar, which proved vital in the end. Could not do anything about either Burnley goal. (7/10)
Defence
Craig Dawson: Was one of a number of West Brom players to struggle a little in the first half, but improved after the interval and grew into the game. (6/10)
Gareth McAuley: Very fortunate to survive a penalty appeal in the second half and found Ings a handful to deal with all game, never really getting the Burnley striker under wraps. (5/10)
Joleon Lescott: Provided a lone resistance at times in the first half and was an important reason why Burnley did not move more than two goals ahead. Also cleared one off the line in the second half. (7/10)
Chris Baird: Hauled off at half time after a nightmare opening 45 minutes in which he was repeatedly beaten down the flank by Trippier and Boyd. (4/10)
Midfield
Darren Fletcher: Made his debut and was given the armband, but did not exactly stand out today. Went about his business quietly and, while he could have been better in possession, he grew into the game and enjoyed a decent second half. (6/10)
Claudio Yacob: A real battler in the middle of the park and Pulis's type of player, but this was not his finest performance. Seemed off the pace a little and never truly got into the game. (5/10)
Chris Brunt: Failed to give Baird enough cover in the first half and was especially caught short for the second goal. However, responded by pulling a goal back at the end of the half and then providing the assist for the equaliser. (7/10)
Attack
Callum McManaman: Showed one or two glimpses but was usually faced with at least two defenders and could not get past them. A subdued performance from the winger. (5/10)
Victor Anichebe: Lasted a little over 15 minutes before being taken off with injury. Barely got a kick during his time on the field as Burnley dominated. (5/10)
Stephane Sessegnon: Spent most of the match out wide left and was ineffective in that position. Looked better in a central role, but did not spend enough time there to really make a difference. (5/10)
Substitutes
Saido Berahino: Brought back in from his exile a lot earlier than expected due to Anichebe's injury, but struggled to make an impact. Squandered a glorious chance to win it late on. (5/10)
Brown Ideye: Introduced at half time as Pulis went for a change of tact and produced the equaliser with a glancing header following some smart play to escape the attentions of Jones. (7/10)
James Morrison: Replaced McManaman in the closing stages of the game and had one dangerous run and cross, but that was about it. (6/10)
