Preview: Cardiff City vs. Watford

Gianfranco Zola's Watford travel to Cardiff to take on second-placed City in the Championship.

In a clash between two of the Championship's form sides, Cardiff City face Watford on Tuesday night.

Cardiff were knocked off top spot after their 3-1 defeat away to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, with Leicester City taking over on goal-difference.

Watford made it three wins from four with their 1-0 win at home to Peterborough on Saturday, lifting them to 13th in the table.

Despite Saturday's defeat, Cardiff manager Malky Mackay is likely to stick with a similar lineup that has seen his side impress at the top of the league.

Gianfranco Zola could recall Matej Vydra after the striker came off the bench to net the late penalty against Peterborough.
