Preview: Cardiff City vs. Manchester City

Sports Mole previews the Premier League clash between Cardiff City and Manchester City.

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay will be hoping that his side can provide an instant response to their disappointing defeat to West Ham United last weekend.

The Bluebirds were outplayed by the Hammers during their 2-0 loss, and they will have to improve against Manchester City at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Mackay could be boosted by the return of £7.5m signing Andreas Cornelius, after the Dane missed the Upton Park fixture through injury.

City looked impressive in sweeping past Newcastle United on Monday night, and manager Manuel Pellegrini is unlikely to make many alterations to his side.

However, he will be without the injured Vincent Kompany, who is expected to miss the two to three weeks with a groin problem.
