Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho: 'I am not happy'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admits that he is frustrated with the Blues' early-season woes but remains convinced that a corner will soon be turned.

Jose Mourinho has admitted that he is unhappy with Chelsea's early-season struggles but has vowed to inspire the Blues' transformation.

The Premier League champions already sit eight points behind top-of-the-table Manchester City following a testing first four games for Mourinho's men which have yielded two defeats and a draw.

The Portuguese takes Chelsea to Everton on Saturday afternoon as they look to kick-start their season, and the 52-year-old is adamant that he will turn things around.

"I'm not happy — and I'm happy that I'm not happy. The moment I'm happy losing matches, then I've changed a lot," he told a press conference on Friday.

"And I don't want to change. I'm not happy but I work harder than ever. I'm optimistic, I trust the players. The players trust me, I know. We are going to leave this situation behind."

Chelsea sit 13th in the standings.
