Chelsea have reportedly added Mauricio Pochettino to their shortlist of candidates to become the club's next manager, according to reports.
The Blues are expected to appoint a permanent successor to Jose Mourinho, who was sacked in December, at the end of the season when interim boss Guus Hiddink steps aside.
A number of bosses have been linked with the Stamford Bridge vacancy, including Pep Guardiola, Diego Simeone, Didier Deschamps and Antonio Conte.
However, The Times and The Independent have this morning claimed that 43-year-old Pochettino has impressed the Chelsea hierarchy with the work that he has carried out since he took charge of Tottenham Hotspur in 2014.
The report adds that the Blues would have to pay a significant compensation fee to secure the Argentine, given that he is less than two years into a five-year contract at White Hart Lane.
Under Pochettino's guidance Spurs are fourth in the Premier League, five points adrift of leaders Leicester City.
