Former Hull City boss Leonid Slutsky to be offered job at Chelsea?

Leonid Slutsky - who was sacked as manager of Hull City at the weekend - could reportedly be offered an opportunity to work at Chelsea.

Former Hull City boss Leonid Slutsky has reportedly moved into contention for a role behind the scenes at Chelsea.

On Sunday night, Hull announced that Slutsky had been removed from his position as manager of the Tigers after claiming just 19 points from 20 games in the Championship.

However, according to The Sun, the Russian could be handed an immediate route back into football by Blues owner and friend Roman Abramovich.

Slutsky has previously been allowed to spend time at the Chelsea training ground, while Ola Aina, Michael Hector and Fikayo Tomori are all currently on loan at the KCOM Stadium after being signed by Slutsky.

The West Londoners are currently debating how to replace Michael Emenalo, who has recently left his position as technical director.
