Ray Wilkins: 'Chelsea won't continue unbeaten run'

Ray Wilkins says that Chelsea will get 'turned over' at some point and their unbeaten run will come to an end.

Former Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins believes that the Blues will get 'turned over' at some point, ending their current unbeaten run.

Jose Mourinho's side sit at the top of the Premier League table, six points above second-placed Southampton after securing 10 wins and two draws.

The Blues have also sealed a place in the knockout rounds of the Champions League following Tuesday night's 5-0 thumping over Schalke 04 in Germany.

"I've always said it's impossible," Wilkins told talkSPORT. "I don't think they'll go the season undefeated. They'll come up against a club, when they're a little bit tired after their travels, and someone will turn them over. They're playing some exquisite stuff though."

Chelsea's next game is away to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
