Preview: Chelsea vs. Cardiff City

Sports Mole previews Saturday's Premier League clash between Chelsea and Cardiff City.

Chelsea will be looking to maintain their strong start to the season when Cardiff City visit Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho's side, who have lost just one of their seven league matches, have won all three of their home fixtures so far.

Cardiff have lost just once away from home this season, but were beaten 2-1 by Newcastle United in their last outing two weeks ago.

Chelsea defender Ashley Cole is expected to miss the match as he continues to recover from a rib injury, while Fernando Torres will also be absent with a knee complaint.

Demba Ba could come into the side for Torres, while Ryan Bertrand may deputise at left-back.

Cardiff manager Malky Mackay has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match and could name the same XI that lost against Newcastle.
