Chelsea will reportedly jump back in the market for Everton defender John Stones when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Premier League champions, who are languishing 16th in the table after seven defeats this season, lodged a number of bids for the centre-back in the summer.
Everton held firm and rebuffed Chelsea's offers, one of which rose to £30m, but according to the Daily Mail, the West London outfit will make a fresh bid in two months' time.
Stones, who has worked his way into the England senior team over the last year, put in a transfer request, but has since settled back into his first-team role at Goodison Park.
Earlier this month, Everton manager Roberto Martinez claimed that he does not "fear" a renewed bid for his defender.
