Chelsea boss Antonio Conte keen to sign five more players?

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte reportedly tells owner Roman Abramovich that he wants to sign five more players before the end of the transfer window.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has reportedly told owner Roman Abramovich that he is unhappy with the strength of his squad ahead of the new season.

The new Blues manager has already signed N'Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi after arriving at Stamford Bridge earlier this month, but it has been claimed that he wants to oversee significant changes at Stamford Bridge.

According to The Mirror, Conte wants to sign as many as five more players before the end of the summer transfer window as he bids to earn the club a much-improved finish in the Premier League after they ended the last campaign in 10th place.

Chelsea have been linked with Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata and Everton forward Romelu Lukaku, while Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan is said to remain a transfer target despite saying that he will remain in Italy.

A report has also suggested that Chelsea are considering a bid for Benfica defender Victor Lindelof.
