Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has reportedly reached a halt in his contract negotiations with Shanghai Shenhua.
The 34-year-old, who announced his decision to leave the Blues after eight years at the club following Chelsea's Champions League victory, is believed to be negotiating a move to the Chinese Super League outfit.
It is understood that while a proposed move is in place, Drogba has demanded up to £250,000 a week as opposed to accepting the £150,000 a week the club are offering, according to Sky Sports News.
Drogba could be reunited with his former Premier League teammate Nicolas Anelka, who moved to the Chinese outfit in January.
