Reports emerge that Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has a buyout clause in his contract that can be triggered by a £22m bid.

A host of Premier League clubs have been placed on red alert by reports that Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has a buyout clause of £22m, according to the Daily Mail.

The Belgian international has been in fine form at Goodison Park this season, attracting interest from Chelsea with a string of impressive displays.

Fellaini has previously admitted that he has ambitions to progress his career with a bigger team but will see out the remaining three-and-a-half years of his contract if necessary.

The 25-year-old has scored nine times in all competitions for the Toffees this season, with his latest goal coming in last night's 5-1 FA Cup victory over Cheltenham Town.
