Frank Lampard 'wants Chelsea defender Jay Dasilva at Derby County'

New Derby County boss Frank Lampard reportedly wants Chelsea defender Jay Dasilva at the Pride Park Stadium next season, having watched the youngster in England fixtures.

New Derby County boss Frank Lampard is reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Jay Dasilva as one of his first recruitments this summer.

The 20-year-old was part of the England U21 team that beat Mexico on Saturday to reclaim the Toulon Tournament title for a third successive year.

According to The Mirror, Lampard watched the player in action during England's semi-final win over Scotland and the Rams coach wants to bring him to Pride Park.

The report adds that 'at least two' Premier League clubs are monitoring the English left-back alongside several Championship sides.

Dasilva won Charlton Athletic's Player of the Year award while on loan at the League One club last season.
