Report: Radamel Falcao targets Chelsea switch

Radamel Falcao will reportedly accept a pay cut in order to force through a move to Chelsea this summer.

Radamel Falcao is prepared to take a pay cut to join Chelsea next season, according to reports.

The Monaco forward has endured a miserable season on loan at Manchester United and found the net only four times.

The Red Devils opted against making his move permanent, leaving the Colombian's future uncertain.

However, The Telegraph reports that Falcao is desperate to remain in the Premier League and wants to join Chelsea, who are in the market for a new forward following Didier Drogba's exit.

The report says that Falcao's £265,000-per-week wages could be a stumbling block, and that he is willing to take a massive pay cut in order to push through any deal.

Falcao shares the same agent as Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
