Queens Park Rangers have reportedly approached Chelsea over the possibility of signing Tomas Kalas on loan in the January transfer window.
Kalas is currently on a season-long loan at FC Koln, but Chelsea are expected to cut that deal short as the Czech defender has not made an appearance for the Bundesliga side.
According to the Evening Standard, QPR boss Harry Redknapp is hopeful that Kalas can improve a defence which has conceded 23 goals in 12 Premier League games this season.
Viktor Kolar, the 21-year-old's agent, revealed: "We have been negotiating the situation surrounding Kalas and there are a number of options in the UK and the Netherlands. One of them is QPR."
Kalas, who has over two years remaining on his current deal at Chelsea, has only made four senior appearances for the club.
