Roy Hodgson stresses that Crystal Palace have no intention of selling talismanic attacker Wilfried Zaha this summer.

Roy Hodgson has reiterated that Crystal Palace have no intention of selling Wilfried Zaha this summer.

The Ivory Coast international has endured an injury-hit season, missing 17 Eagles games in all competitions.

Nonetheless, Zaha was instrumental in helping Palace survive in the Premier League despite a torrid start, culminating in five goals in his final seven matches.

As a result, the 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from Selhurst Park, but manager Hodgson insists that the Eagles have no intention of letting their talisman leave.

"Wilf knows exactly how we value him as a player and as a person because he's an important figure for us," Hodgson told Palace's website.

"He has a long-term contract and is one of our best-paid players, and the last thing on anyone's mind here is letting him go.

"As far as I'm concerned, until a day comes where an offer is made that the club accepts, that speculation can wash over my head."

Zaha has made 29 appearances this season, scoring nine goals and registering five assists.
