Crystal Palace's Jonathan Williams admits Swansea City interest

Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams reveals that Swansea City have shown an interest in signing him.

Crystal Palace midfielder Jonathan Williams has revealed that Swansea City are interested in signing him.

The 20-year-old was sent out to Ipswich Town on loan last season after failing to hold down a regular first-team place under manager Tony Pulis.

"I spoke to my agent who says [Swansea] were interested," Williams BBC Radio Wales.

"I need to play football, preferably at Palace, but if not I'd have to consider playing elsewhere. Swansea are a great team. They've shown over the last few years that they can do it at the top level.

"I haven't heard much personally about if anything's been offered, but I'm sure I'll know more about it in the next few weeks."

The Wales international has made 74 appearances for Palace since making his debut in 2011.
