Sky Bet reveals the 10 football fans in with a chance of winning £250,000 for their Football League club to spend on transfers.

The 10 football fans in with a chance of winning £250,000 for their Football League club to spend on transfers have been revealed.

Sky Bet's Transfer Fund will give a quarter of a million to one club and £5,000 to the lucky fan chosen in the draw this coming Friday, July 10.

Either Derby County, Peterborough United, Carlisle United, Ipswich Town, Cardiff City, Rotherham United, Coventry City, Newport County, Bolton Wanderers or Southend United will pocket the cash, which must be spent on transfers.


The draw will be made at midday on Friday on Sky Sports News. Presenter Jim White said: "You can only imagine how the chairman, manager and players of the winning club are going to react when they hear the news!"

The first Transfer Fund in January saw under-embargo Nottingham Forest ironically win the prize and they spent the cash on wages for two loan players.
