Preview: Derby County vs. Sheffield Wednesday

Sports Mole previews the Championship meeting between Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to continue their recent unbeaten run when they travel to Derby County on Saturday.

The Owls have lost just once in their last six outings, drawing four and winning once. Last weekend's 5-2 success against Reading was enough to lift the club out of the relegation zone.

Derby's 2-1 defeat at Queens Park Rangers last Saturday was only the club's second loss in their last six games and the first under head coach Steve McClaren.

The Rams have no fresh injury concerns and McClaren could opt for the same side that lost at Loftus Road.

Dave Jones could be tempted to name the same Wednesday side that beat Reading, with goalscorers Connor Wickham and Matty Fryatt continuing their partnership in attack.
