Dundee have clinched the signing of Swedish midfielder Andreas Hadenius on a six-month loan deal.
With Glen Kamara still hoping to bring his summer switch to Rangers forward to this month, boss Jim McIntyre has been on the look out for fresh options in the middle of the park.
And he hopes the addition of 27-year-old Hadenius from Swedish second tier outfit Halmstad BK will provide the answer to his conundrum.
Hadenius – who can also play in defence – is making his first move outside of Sweden after agreeing to join up with McIntyre's Dundee overhaul.
He started his professional career with IFK Norrkoping and has also racked up stints at IF Syvia and IFK Varnamo before joining Halmstad last year.
Hadenius becomes the sixth new addition to sign for Dundee this month as McIntyre looks to guide the Taysiders away from relegation danger.
