Former England boss Steve McClaren has insisted that he has "no intention" of becoming the Football Association's new technical director.
McClaren, now in charge of Dutch side FC Twente, has been strongly linked with the role, but he has declared the rumours "absolute nonsense".
"It is absolute nonsense. I don't have the ambition to fulfill an office job, maybe in 10 years but certainly not now. I have no intention of becoming the Football Association's new technical director," said McClaren.
McClaren managed England between 2006 and 2007.
