Preview: Freiburg vs. Slovan Liberec

Sports Mole looks ahead to Thursday's Europa League Group H match between Freiburg and Slovan Liberec.

Freiburg will look to make up for a poor start to their Bundesliga season when they host Slovan Liberec in their Europa League Group H opener against Czech side Slovan Liberic.

The German club, who finished fifth last season, have begun this campaign with three defeats and two draws, and sit in the bottom two.

Visiting Liberec stunned Udinese 4-2 on aggregate to reach the group stage and lie third, where they finished last season, in the Czech Liga table after eight games.

Freiburg head into the match on the back of a defeat at Augsburg on Saturday, while Liberec managed a draw against title rivals Victoria Plzen on Friday.
