Freiburg fight back to beat Nuremburg

Freiburg twice come from behind to beat Nuremberg 3-2 at the Mage-Solar Stadion in the Bundesliga.

Freiburg twice fell behind to Nuremberg this evening before roaring back and claiming the points at the Mage-Solar Stadion in the Bundesliga.

Nuremburg took the lead in the seventh minute when Emanuel Pogatetz rose highest to head home Hiroshi Kiyotake's cross.

Pavel Krmas equalised midway through the first half by planting his header into the net from Jonathan Schmid's corner.

Krmas might have levelled the game, but he would concede a penalty just before half time that Josip Drmic tucked away to give the visitors the lead at the break.

Freiburg then won a penalty of their own in the 52nd minute that Admir Mehmedi scored, before Felix Klaus found the winner half an hour from time.

Just before the full-time whistle Pogatetz was given his marching orders after being booked for a second time.

Three points for Freiburg move them up to 13th, three points clear of Nuremburg, who lie just above the relegation playoff spot in 16th.
