Half-Time Report: Lucas Piazon puts Reading ahead at Fulham

Reading lead Fulham 1-0 at the break thanks to Lucas Piazon's early strike.

Lucas Piazon's early strike has given Reading a 1-0 half-time advantage in their Championship clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Chelsea loanee rounded off a slick team move to slot home from inside the six-yard box in the 13th minute.

The visitors continued to dominate, with Nick Blackman and Orlando Sa both going close in the minutes after the opening goal.

Piazon almost netted his second midway through the first half when his shot took a wicked deflection, but it looped onto the roof of the net.

The hosts were forced into a 36th-minute change as Jazz Richards hobbled from the pitch to be replaced by Alexander Kacaniklic, and the Swedish winger almost teed up Lasse Vigen Christensen for a leveller, but his shot was deflected wide.
