Fulham manager Martin Jol has said that Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean needs to be given more time at Ewood Park.
Kean, who has been on the hot seat all season, has been the subject of several fan protests in recent months. However, the Dutchman maintains that the owners have made the right decision to continue to back their man.
"He is a tough nut. I don't know if I could cope with what he is putting up with," he said. "It would be tempting to turn round to the fans and answer them back.
"He needs time. He has got a young team. There is pressure if you lose twice, even, but I have never experienced anything like the pressure he was under.
"Most of the time the owners of the club will give in after a couple of weeks and the manager will be gone. But the owners have stuck with him. I think this could be the first time in the history of the Premier League that the board has stuck with its manager."
Meanwhile, bottom-of-the-league Blackburn welcome Fulham to Ewood Park this weekend.
