Fulham striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has claimed that he will wait until the end of his six-month contract before making a decision on his future.
The 28-year-old has been a welcome addition to the Cottagers, scoring five goals in three fixtures for the Premier League side.
Fulham boss Martin Jol revealed after his side's 5-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend that he was keen to keep hold of the Russian.
"I'm here for six months initially and after that the club and I will see what can happen," Pogrebnyak told Fulham's official magazine, Fultime.
"My target is adapt to English football and to learn the way of the team - these are the most important things. Right now I am only thinking about the present and the next game that comes."
Pogrebnyak joined the London side from Stuttgart on the final day of the January transfer window.
